Cleaning, Mother's Day, Jewelry

Dale has taken Eliza for the day so I could clean the house a bit. Ok, well every room was a disaster! Now that I have spent two hours cleaning... I needed a little break to blog. It seems though that I always start cleaning in the same way. First things first.... Do the front living room. That way if someone stops by unexpectly it looks like my house is always beautiful. Second room, kitchen! Do all dishes and put all dishes away, second, counters washed, third, try to organized all the toys, bills etc pileing up on the counter. Of course trash, everyday! Then which I never want to do... wash the kitchen floor. Without fail it gets dirty seconds after it is done. So why ever clean it? Then pick up the TV room and vacuum... and maybe get laundry start so I can have my favorite clothes to wear. So after that I never make it to all the other things in the house. So my upstairs and bathrooms suffer. Does anyone else have this problem?

Well we just got back from a lovely fast weekend get away. One of my favorite friends lives in Taylor, Julia Brimhall. So after cancelling and moving things around this was the only weekend we could get this in. We got eat at Burger House in Miami. Which is my absolute favorite place to eat at. I love their red mix burritos! So my last meal before I die will be that burrito. So write that down.
We let the kids run around.... Eliza and Ethan (Julia's son). And finally we made it to Taylor 5 hours later. The kids got to feed and sit on the horses. Then we all went craw fishing. Eliza only took a few minutes before she decided this was a lame activity. They were not biting today! She said I hate fishing! So she made some new friends at the river and played with them.
Dinner was great fun and we slept at the hotel. We have very low expectations with two little kids in one room at a hotel. So we were not disappointed when they kept us up at night. Dale was so sweet and had both kids in his bed and I got my very own bed... until 4 am. Yes, there is no romance with kids. Dale can attest to that. We got back Sunday after church for Mother's Day.
My mom would feel very unloved if I didn't stop by on Mother's Day. I made my family earrings for Mom Day. If someone wants to do jewelry making I have a friend in the ward who will let me come over anytime.

My kitchen floor is always such a mess with 3 little kids that it should be mopped daily. Not that it actually happens, but it should be. And I can't even talk about my bathrooms! I spent about 2 hours cleaning yesterday too, so I feel ya!

It's funny, cause your routine is EXACTLY the same routine (order and everything) as mine when I clean...start from the front, and work my way to the back...if I ever get to the back!
