This a few pictures from our California trip. We went to California the 5 through the 11th of July. We got spoiled by our 5 star resort on the beach. I really honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. We shared a place with Tauni, Eric and kids. It was a blast! But it didn't stop the drama! The first night Dale accidently woke our family up by using the bathroom. I am not a morning person esp at 5:50 am. So he was being a good Dad and decided to help and take Eliza for a walk and grocery shopping. They walked to the pier and she saw a guy catch a little sand shark. She later became more frightened when the shark grabbed the guy's hand and bit it! Dale came back to the resort and saw that Doc was awake so he decided to let Tauni sleep in and take him to the store. But he forgot one detail! He didn't tell anyone he had Doc. So at 6:30 Tauni woke up in a panic and couldn't find her son. So she woke up her whole family only to come to the conclusion after talking to me that Dale must have taken him. We all got a good laugh!
We went swimming at the beach, went for a bike ride, played games and took turns making dinner every night. It was a blast! Tauni watched our kids for my birthday. Dale got a hotel for the night and we had a relaxing night with no kids. But after a few hours we missed them too much. So we had cake and ice cream with the kids, and put them to bed. But it was nice relax the next morning. We didn't see them till noon the next day. It was a nice birthday!
